21st annual Latino Food Festival

Menudo and Pozole Cook-Off.


KCHCC is excited to announce our entertainment line-up for our 21st annual Latino Food Festival Menudo and Pozole Cook-Off. We'll have 3 stages, HEADLINER will be RAMON AYALA Y SUS BRAVOS DEL NORTE along with VELORIO La Marcha , Hindsite, Band LostVinyl  (a special tribute to Tower of Power), La Sonora Explosiva, Mariachi San Marcos, DJ's Danny Palacios  and Noe Garcia Ballet Folklorico Huaztecalli  and more!

Pictured Above: Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Energy Academy students had the opportunity to participate in facility tours today at a cogeneration plant, refinery, and Associated Builders and Contractors. They learned about different trades that are critical to energy production. This concludes this year's academy. July 25, 2018


Pictured Above: KCHCC Energy and Ag Academy got a hands on experience and toured Wonderful Nurseries where they start the process of growing grape vines and toured Kirschenmann Potato Farm! It was quite amazing experience for our students. Kudos to Wonderful and the Kirschenmann Companies. 7-20-18

Pictured above: Kevin McCusker (California Water Service Company) spoke with the KCHCC Government Relations Committee on the franchise agreement extension with the City of Bakersfield in the Chevron Board Room at KCHCC on August 3. McCusker also updated everyone on the efforts by Cal Water to conform to the new TCP (1,2,3-Trichloropropane) standard being issued by the State.
